“What we get from MYOB personally, is the energy from working with the boys, and experiencing the world they come from, and watch just how much they evolve,” says Esben Hegnsholt, Managing Director & Partner at BCG.
Since 2012 BCG has contributed to the impressive development of Mind Your Own Business (MYOB). An organization that helps young boys from marginalized communities start their own micro-business.
MYOB engages young boys ages 13 to 19, who come from vulnerable Danish neighborhoods—areas that have a disproportionate number of residents without an education or a job.
The organization started as a small side project in the Danish Refugee Council. Today it is an independent organization supporting and educating several hundred young boys each year.
Watch the video below to hear Esben Hegnsholt talk more about MYOB, and what it means for BCG and BCG’ers personally to be part of the project:
BCG is very proud to have been a part of Mind Your Own Business and will continue our longstanding partnership.
